Dining room demo

Look what Rachel did! I went out to the store and saw Rachel had been busy tearing down the wall between the dining room and kitchen. She used nothing but a sledgehammer, her bare hand, and teeth to get all this plaster and brick down. I helped her by sweeping the debris out of her way. And occasionally wielding the sledgehammer. When she was busy gnashing plaster off the walls. Don't be fooled by her looks she is a tornado of destruction.

Look what we did!

Lots of work has been done to the boudoir! The purple on the walls has nearly been vanquished. Only one wall of the evil violet remains. I cut and framed a pocket door with my father and it just fit. We'll be using the door from the dining room to maintain continuity.

The b'doir is also now completely rewired and (almost!) up to code. What does this mean? We can do insanely convenient things like plug in the space heaters to the outlets on the walls! Imagine that!

The window trim has nearly been completely scraped off by Rachel. I discovered what a truly hateful process this is when I waled on the single window for an entire morning. Rachel thinks there is one day of work left on this. She has said this for the past three days. I think she is doing a great job!
